Hey Guys!

So, if most of you don't already know, the general inquiry # is closed and no longer available to check your status.

The new # is just an automated system, with no hope of speaking to a real person!

Thanks to Dbkrantz, who recently posted this link to check your status:

Note: The above link takes 5 business days to return information! However, I was recently told it may take up to two weeks now, with the amount of requests they are receiving. Mine took 1 week and 5 days.

There is this number: 0207-495-0551

Which leads to the USCIS who CANNOT help you. HOWEVER, they have told me a very valuable little nugget of information. A cheat, so to speak!

If you write to this email:

uscis.london@dhs.gov

and explain that you wish to know your LND case number/check status, they will get back to you within 24 hours, sometimes even sooner! I had a reply email within 4 hours.

Just thought I would add to the post that Dbkrantz posted earlier in the week!

July 26,2013 - Request For Evidence (RFE) Notice

July 30,2013 - Evidence Returned

Aug 2,2013 - NOA2 Approved (10 Days)

Aug 28,2013 - Email Received Stating LND # (They Sent Packet 3 on August 27th)

Aug 30,2013 - Packet 3 Received and Sent (DS-230 Part I and II, DS-2001, and Cover Letter)

Sep 4th, 2013 - Medical

Sep 19, 2013 - Packet 4 Received

Sep 27,2013 - Interview - *approved*

Oct 02,2013 - Passport Packet Received (3 working days)

Oct 11th, 2013 - POE Los Angeles

Oct 21st, 2013 - SSN Received
Nov 14th, 2013 - Greencard Received

I-130 approved - 27 August 2013
Pkt 3 letter arrived - 21 Sept 2013 (took bit longer because of mail redirect)
Phoned for medical appt - 23 Sept 2013
Medical - 24 Sept 2013
Pkt 3 returned - 15 October 2013 (cover letter requesting interview after 3 Dec due to travel)

Interview letter from Embassy reccd - 20 Nov 2013

Interview Date - 9 Dec 2013 - all went well

CEAC showed issued - 10 Dec

Email re courier - 12 Dec for delivery 13 Dec

(actually rescheduled delivery for 16 Dec as more convenient)

POE - fly in to Seattle 24 Dec

You're welcome! I'm betting you might receive your NOA2 tomorrow ;) It's 21 days for processing at the moment. So it should be coming ANY day now :)

I would give it 3 weeks from the notice of Approval before sending an enquiry =)

August 15, 2013 Received case number after enquiry. Booked medical and sent packet 3 forms.

August 31, 2013 Medical

Sept 18, 2013 Packet 3 forms logged into the system

Sept 24, 2013 Packet 4 received (dated September 19)

October 4, 2013 Interview *approved*

October 9, 2013 Passport received

November 12, 2013 POE Los Angeles

November 22, 2013 Social Security Number received
