Hi All,

I have a very silly question. I guess these all things should not make a difference in our visa journey, but still I want your second thought before I move forward.

I filed I-130 for my wife on Feb 2012 and was approved on July 29 2013 ( after upgrading from F2A to CR1) and I am waiting for NVC to receive our document. Meanwhile I am collecting all the necessary document for next stage and I am facing two silly situation:

1. My wife forgot to send page 1 of DS 230 and I reprinted it. The A4 paper size of Nepal and of US is different. So 1st page looks bit small than rest other three pages ( about 2-3 inch). I believe it should not make any difference, what do you say, shall I ask her to print DS 230 again and send it to me or I mail this DS 230 with different paper size?

2. For 2012 Tax return, we filed Joint tax return( applied ITIN number for my wife) . I ordered tax transcript for year 2012 and I found that last letter of my wife's Surname name is missing on the transcript, but her ITIN number is correct. I checked the copy of 2012 1040 form and found that it was missing there also. The reason behind this is because my wife's Surname name is long after she added my last name also on her surname. I went and talk with IRS office and they say nothing can be done since IRS goes with 1st five letter of last name and also told me I don't have to worry since her ITIN number is correct on Tax Transcript and her name is spelled correctly on ITIN number document from IRS.

Do you think this makes difference on AOS stage? What do you say?

I will highly appreciate any thoughts or comments on this issue

I will highly appreciate any thoughts or comments on this issue

1.) I would suggest to print page 1 in A4 and and have it mailed it to you, just to be consistent.

2.) I would not worry much about it. If IRS says they use 1st five letters of last name, you should be fine. It is what it is. If you want you can attach a statement to justify the discrepancy, but I do not think it is necessary.

Hope this helps.
