Changing venue of naturalization oath ceremony

Anyone successful in having their naturalization oath ceremony venue changed? I am scheduled for oath ceremony 6+ hours away where I live while my friend is having her oath taking in our town. I am tight on my finances at the moment so I would like to avoid having to pay for fuel and hotel.

I'm surprised they hadn't scheduled you in your town like your friend. 6 hrs??? Weird. Maybe they didn't have enough room. No idea about changing venue. Hoping someone on here can assist you with that.
