Once you get your MNL case # from NVC do they send you an email or letter confirmation? I know that in order to do a medical you need the confirmation email or letter from NVC with your MNL case # but what if they don't send either one? Does that mean you cannot take the medical? When does NVC actually send you the confirmation letter? Thanks

When the USEM receives your packet from the NVC, they will send you a letter. However, you may or may not receive it in the mail. But that's not the letter you will need.

Pay for the Interview and then schedule it. After you schedule it, print the page with the bar code. This is what you'll need for BOTH the medical exam at SLEC and the actual interview at the USEM.

Basing on my experience, SLEC requires a photocopy of the NVC letter with MNL number (received by my USC fiancé) or the Letter of instructions from the US embassy Manila (received by me) when I had my medical last July 3, 2013.
