Hi All

I had my medical done January 3rd this year. My visa was refused due to unlawful presence, filled the waiver and was approved July 2nd.

Still haven't heard from London yet with what I need to do next. We are running tight on time and due to school reasons, we need to be in the US by 29th July.

I called the clinic today and they don't have a appointment unitl the 25th July plus 4 working days until London receive it etc...

Any of you know if I can get this x-ray done in the US instead of the UK? I have been just 15 days over the 6 months time-frame for the x-ray.

I am freaking out at the moment as London does not answer to both e-mail that I sent (with the code provided by the customer service) and I don't know what else to do.

I will appreciate any help.

Thanks

I think you're gonna have to keep trying to get an answer out of London. Only they can say what needs to happen in regards to your x-ray and next steps. :(

Is there any other clinic you can get it taken at? I know sometimes you have the option of a couple of places. Even if it's a drive.

How long will the x-ray be accepted for is the question I'd be asking, as long as you passed that and it wasn't flagged with the medical centre. I know with K1 visas the medical results last for as certain amount of time (I think between 6-12 months). Wouldn't that mean you don't have to go through that process again? Definitely worth looking at. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, just taking it from my own experience. Good luck :)

Medical is good for 12 months (the assessment), but the x-ray for 6 (at least, this is what the info for London medicals states). This is why the validity of immigration and K1 visas is 6 months from medical date.

Thank you all for all the replies. Yes that is the trick part. The medical PDF says that x-ray is valid for 6 months. I am 15 days over the 6 months and with the lack of communication from London now I don't know what to do.

It's been 15 days since my Waiver approval. I know I don't have to re-do the medical (vaccines etc) as they are valid for 12 months. I am not on a K-1 visa, so I don't know if this should apply. Well, I guess I have to wait and see if I get an answer, as I emailed Tuesday last week and yet haven't had a response. My son is about to loose his place at school if we don't get there by the 30th July.
