Transfer, traveling, NOA2?

Hello All!!

Sorry i don't know how the heck to title this lol. I'm going to be visiting my Fiance for our birthdays at the end of this month and staying for a few weeks. The problem is that we have been tranferred to Texas about a week and a half ago, and I know most people start getting their RFE's and Approvals in 3-4 weeks after transfer. What happens if we receive it right before I leave or while I'm there?

• Do I have to cancel my trip?
• Do I have to go home early if we get it and I'm still visiting?
• How long between NOA2 and our Interview?
• is it going to pose a problem if I get it before I leave?

I already know I can run into some trouble trying to cross the border, but honestly I have yet to have any trouble at all in traveling. I'm just curious as to how an approval or RFE can affect us at this point?

have someone check your mail.. and most rfe's will show on the status check but not always .. as you know your response to an rfe is time sensitive

if noa2 comes while you are in the states, you generally have to have an interview within 4 months

stay in contact with the embassy after this point, they can do extensions 4 months at a time
