Educational Issue

I'm wondering if anyone here has run into a similar problem and has found a way around it. My wife earned her degree in English Education from the HCM City University of Education. However, we have two issues:

1. Demonstrating that she did student teaching

2. She has lost the degree certificate itself (the booklet kind)

She has her transcript, which apparently, they only issue once and that's it. So, I guess the first question is whether anyone has ever had trouble having the transcript accepted, since it isn't being sent directly from the school.

The school says they can't re-issue the degree certificate or anything confirming she earned a degree from the school. Seems ridiculous to me, but then again, I'm getting used to things that don't make sense.

So, is she out of luck? Or is there something we might could do?

anhdoiem, apparently a big part of the problem is that there is all new leadership at this univ as a response to previous corruption. they are unwilling to certify or validate degrees given under the previous corrupt administration.

anyone else have any ideas?

Love the motto, considering their website is a dead link. She does know the in's and out's of paperwork here though.
