Hello community! I've been browsing around these forums recently and decided to join - it may be a bit selfish but I need help! Hopefully someday

after this long journey I can in turn help out!

Here is my situation:

I am going to submit my I-129f hopefully within the next 4 weeks. My fiance and I met 5 years ago and got serious last year in August when I popped the question to her while we were living in Japan. She is Thai and I am American.

Going into the paperwork and scouring the information I found out some things that may complicate our process.

I did not know she was staying in Japan using her marriage visa still, he let her renew it in 2011 to be able to stay with me in Japan - he then filed the divorce paperwork Jan. 2012. This didn't make me too happy when I found out recently, but she was living with me for the past two years and her sister before that, she did it to be able to stay with me until I finished my degree.

Going to go through it telling the truth just not sure if this would cause any alarm bells, which is what I fear.

Onward to the paperwork - the divorce paperwork must be translated to English for the i-129f correct?

Are there any particular website translation services that anyone has used that can be recommended or should I try to find a local source?

Thanks!
