****** Signature / Thumb Impression

1 post in this topic

Hi All:

Appreciate your view on this...

I filed for my parents immigrant Visa. We got the I -130 approved. My question is that

1. My parents are not fluent in English .They can talk our local language. They use the thumb impression for the bank and other transaction in our home country.

Is it okay if we get the DS 3032 / DS 230 , signed using the thumb impression instead of the signature. Will USCIS accept that. What are the other alternatives.

Can I be on the file and sign on behalf of them. I just want to be truthful with USCIS and not screw up the case...

Please respond back.
