Special Case: Should I hire a lawyer?

Ok so my case is very unique and I really need some tips from fellow K1-ers on whether I should hire a lawyer or not.

Me and my gf met 5 years ago and 2 years later we married abroad in her home country. I decided to work there but things did not turn out as expected and I returned to the states within a year. Now before I returned, we divorced abroad (big mistake!!). Now its been a year and my work has settled in the US. I am making enough money to take care of both her and myself. Now, I want to get a K1 for her to come to the US and for us to get married here.

Would this set off any alarms? Our relationship is genuine and I really don't want to be rejected for our previous divorce.

Should I hire a lawyer?
