This afternoon i decided to check the status of my Visa process: It says the following...

Immigrant Visa Case Number: ACCXXXXXXXXXX01 ACC Case Creation Date: 19-Apr-2013 Status Updated Date: 08-May-2013

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at:http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3731.html
My fiance have been waiting for packet #3 that the consulate has sent according to state department and still no packet #3 in mail for over 3 weeks now. What should we do?

So I sent an email to the consulate to request for update and i get this back:

RE: ACCXXXXXXXXXX

Dear Mr. AXXXXXX,

Thank you for your email inquiry.

We wish to inform you that we do not discuss details of a case via email, mail or telephone. Only Consular Officers do at the time of the applicant’s interview. If there are any questions to be raised the applicant should bring it up at the next follow up interview.

We hope this information is helpful to you.

Sincerely,

U.S. Embassy Accra

Consular Section

Note: You should never pay for travel arrangements (e.g., airfare, hotels) without having a visa in your possession. The U.S. Embassy accepts no responsibility if you do so. We are unable to guarantee the issuance of a U.S. visa before a fixed travel date. You risk significant financial losses if you ignore this advice.

**** Please include your case number in all correspondence ****
