Here's my deal. We have already filed 129-F. While I'm waiting for it to go through, I'm trying to time it so that I can live with my fiance in the USA for 4-5 months before everything is approved. If I don't have an address for packet 3 and 4 to get mailed to in Canada, can it be sent to the us citizen?

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I realize P3 is online but they still mail the physical package. My question is, can they send it to another address outside of Canada? And is P4 the actual visa?

Is there anything in P3 that I would need before I go to the interview? Or is that all available online? And I edited the last entry so it might have been missed but is P4 the actual Visa?

Your medical and your police certificates. P4 is the interview date not a visa.

So technically there is nothing in either package that i need. I could fly from the usa straight to Montreal without needing anything in them? I will be scheduling my appointment online and I know I need this letter but wouldn't I be printing this off my email? (sorry for all the newb questions!)

If you get P4 as an email that actually has the interview date on it then yes you could use it for the interview.

Everything in the package is available online. Download, fill out, mail it in with the stuff. Make sure you read the guides in the Canada section for what you need to send back with the forms or what needs to go with you to the interview.

If you have your medical done at medisys in Montreal, I believe they still need to see a paper with your case information on it still. That might have changed tho.

I'm currently in the US with my USC fiance to wait it out, as you plan to do. I don't have a home in Canada anymore, so am using a friend's address in Vancouver (where I'll be interviewing) to receive my packet 3 and 4. I'll have everything prepared ahead of time, using the online packet 3, and plan to return once I have my interview date (or a little before, to sell my car and organize my move, etc.)

I have a lot of unknowns. I didn't know the rules and tried to go back to the usa in September 2012 after already being there for 6 months. Of course I was denied entry. I haven't tried to return since. I'm going for a visit in June for 2 1/2 weeks and hoping to go back at the end of August and stay for a 4-5 months. I really don't know if they will let me across the border so I'm already anxious about everything even though I'm doing everything they want me to. So having an address in Canada is important for me to have just not sure of everything...I'm ranting lol
