Hello

Going ahead and starting to get things together for the 2nd part of our journey, I have a question about the i-134. I seperated from my first husband 3 years ago, I left him and left him everything I just wanted to be away from him, so the past few years have been rough on me and this year have I really gotten back on my feet. This year Im making well over 24k for my annual income, but the last 3 years I didnt even break 13k. I see that most suggest sending them your past 3 years worth of tax returns but for me this wont prove I make enough to support him. Do I send them anyway? Is just the annual income I am making now enough? Since it isnt 2007 yet I dont have any tax returns for this year. I have saved my pay stubs for the past 6 months and been employed at my current job for just over a year. Is this enough?

thanks

Cat,

Some consulates ask for only the 1 most recent tax return, others ask for 3. Some might not ask for any.

I don't know what the consulate in London asks for, but since your recent past returns are not particularly helpful give them to your fiance to have available but have him submit only documentation that supports your current job and income. Have him hold on to the tax returns unless and until they are asked for.
