Hello everyone!! I am a Jan 2013 filer. We have an official conference in the month of July & I need to give my confirmation on my availability. I am not able to decide whether to commit or no. Is there any possibility of something related to K1 visa might come during that time? My conference is at the end of the month & I need to confirm it at the earliest so that all the reservations & further arrangement will be done. Any suggestion?????

Are you the petitioner or the beneficiary?

If you are the petitioner, with the current processing times, it loooks like you may be getting your NOA2 right around then, or maybe even a little sooner. The good news is that as the petitioner, all that is needed from you after the NOA2 is the Affidavit of Support and possibly an updated Letter of Intent to Marry. I would suggest registering for the conference and as the date approaches, making sure you have the paperwork ready for your fiance's interview.

The beneficiary, however, will need to get the Police report, medical, and other paperwork completed after the NOA2.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I am the beneficiary. And I think I should keep myself free during that period of time. You helped me to reach the decision
