WHAT DOES THE NVC LETTER LOOK LIKE?

I got a letter in the mail today ... :reading:

But, it seems far too brief to be the long-awaited NVC letter. It reads something to the effect of "...we have your Case as of 11-8-06, within a week it will be fowarded..." and there's a bar code and the address to Lagos. Is this it????

Case Transferred to CSC

19 Sept 2006 Touched Again!

23 Sept 2006 Received IMBRA RFE by postal mail (postmarked 20 Sept 2006)

25 Sept 2006 Response to IMBRA RFE sent Priority Mail w/Delivery Confirmation

13 Nov 2006 Received NVC letter via Postal Mail

20 Nov 2006 Fiance went to Lagos Consulate- Interview Date Received

7 Feb 2007 Interview-VISA GRANTED!!! -

12 Feb 2007 Visa in Hand!!! ***Scheduled arrival 23 Feb 2007***

23 Feb 2007 Arrived JFK USA!!!

12 May 2007 Married

23 May 2007 Filed AOS

25 May 2007 Rec'd NOA1

Yes it sounds like it is it. There should be a new case # on the letter underneath the bar code - this is now your case number for the remaining portion of your journey. Make sure your fiance has a copy of this letter when going to the embassy. Good luck!

Yes that is the letter. Look underneath the bar code for the new case # on the letter. Make sure your fiance has a copy of this letter when going to the embassy. Oh my, maybe we will bump into each other at the embassy - LOL! Take care and best wishes!

4/28/06 ~ Visited the love of my life! (The best 2+ weeks of my entire life!)

5/13/06 ~ Had to leave to the US without my love - (no way to describe the pain I felt)

6/5/06 ~ I-129F Sent

6/20/06 ~ NOA1

8/14/06 ~ Touched (response to email I sent stating 'request recieved and will be processed within 30 days)

8/16/06 ~ Touched (email stating letter responding to email was sent) - (after 30 days - still no letter - called USCIS to inform them - they will do inquiry)

9/21/06 ~ Touched (email stating that RFE was mailed to me on 9/20/06 - YES!)

9/25/06 ~ RFE received!!!!!!!!!!

9/26/06 ~ Mailed RFE back to CSC

10/2/06 ~ CSC received RFE

10/3/06 ~ Touched

10/4/06 ~ Touched

10/9/06 ~ Rec'd letter re: inquiry I made 8/14/06-just said I-129F is being reviewed and RFE rec'd by CSC

10/17/06 ~ NOA2 (Touched)

10/19/06 ~ Touched

10/27/06 ~ (Rec'd notice via email on 10/27/06 that NOA2 was 10/17/06 - should be in the mail!) Thank you Lord!

10/30/06 ~ Rec'd NOA2 in mail

11/1/06 ~ NVC rec'd NOA2

11/6/06 ~ NVC assigned new case # and sent to Lagos Consulate

11/11/06 ~ Rec'd NVC letter in mail

11/13/06 ~ Charles went to embassy - got Pkts 3 & 4

****Awaiting interview date set for 2/7/2007****

2/7/07 ~ APPROVED!!!! MY BABY IS COMING HOME!!!!

2/13/07 ~ Picked up visa at Embassy

2/21/07 ~ My baby and I are on our way home together!!!

2/22/07 ~ We are finally home in the US!

Hey Sercontigo...

Funny you should remark about the NVC letter. :no: I said to myself..Lord `ave mercy..This is it? The paper looked so cheap and i had to come up with a reason for that: the turnaround for K1 is so fast that they just cant be bothered trying to make nice...I really do not mind having the letter on cheap paper if that means they are busy sending package to the embassy.

Anyway, forge ahead........

I received the same letter. did you find out if that is the actual nvc letter.
