Mexico Interview Wait Times

We Just learned from calling the NVC that our package had been approved and was being sent on to schedule a interview date. I was hoping that someone could tell us how long it took to schedule a interview we are being sent to the Juarez consulate, also if any one knows how far the scheduled interviews are out that would be great. We made our appt. around the 20th of December, and there were openings already two weeks later. We called the NVC to get our invoice ID # and scheduled our interview before we got our letter in the mail. We ended up getting the letter in the mail a few days before the interview. It took about a month from the 'NVC left' date to the 'Consulate Received' letter arrival. Congrats and good luck!

Oops, I just realized that we did the K-1, and you have the CR-1, so maybe the process is different? I'm sorry!

Embord, can you please reply back to tell me if you were forced to take the appointments that were open in the first 2 weeks or if you were able to select an appointment a little farther out if you wanted to? I ask because we haven't sent our NVC stuff off yet but i am wondering when they let us know it is complete if we will be able to select an interview date that is about a month out so we have time to plan accordingly or if they just assign you an appointment?

Hi! Yes, we were able to select the day we wanted for our interview. There were a lot of openings to choose from. You pick your consulate appt. first, and then a new screen comes up and you pick your asc appt.
