Hey guys :help:

I am inquiring as to whether approval for a K1 visa will be affected if I an application is made for B1, or 'Visitor for Business' Visa.

There is a conference being held in Chicago for a weekend in which my employer would like me to go as company representation in August. Therefore an application would be made sometime in May/ June concerning the trip.

My fiance and I will be applying for a K1 Visa in June would this affect the outcome?

Is there any information that no other visa can be sought during a K1 application?

Furthermore if the application is made sooner for the B1, or 'Visitor for Business' Visa in April and it is refused for any reason will

our K1 application in June?

I recently started this job and I think this is a great professional opportunity given by my employer. But if this would be any further complication to the K1 process I would refuse the opportunity given.

Who knows once I get approve for the B1 or 'Visitor for Business' it will provide a bit of ease in visiting my fiance in the future while the K1 is pending.

I have already been denied a B2 ( Visitor for pleasure) not proving enough ties in July 2012. So I am a bit worried as to the steps I should take.

Please provide some guidance anyone? B-)
