Absolutely !! But it depends on where you are. If you are in a smaller city, more times than not you will have to wait for a judge, and they oftentimes only perform the oath once a week, or even once very two weeks.

Dallas would almost certainly perform the oath the same day, so get ready, and take a camera !!

Great! My friend was worried it was some kind of a scheduling mistake. We thought they were closed on Saturdays. If my friend gets the oath the same day, having it on Saturday would be wonderful - we can come and participate without having to take a day off of work ;-)

Wanted to follow up on my question for anybody who might find this topic through searching the board :-)

My friend's Saturday interview was cancelled. He got another interview letter in the mail as well as a courtesy phone call from the local office (Irving, TX). His new date was about three weeks later and it was a Thursday. He also had the oath the same day. For N-400 filers whose local office is Irving, TX - they are having the oath every Monday and Thursday, so if your interview is on one of these days in the morning (before 12:30 pm) chances are you'll be invited to the oath on the day of your interview.
