It could take a month. Don't waste your money calling the Embassy as they rarely know anything, and you can get the same information from calling DOS (202-663-1225 option 1 then 0). Hope you hear something soon.

So The DOS will know the interview date or the sdo (interview) number?

Yes, they can give you both. They are the only department that can see everything that is going on with your case no matter were it is.

You are absolutely awesome... I just called the DOS this morning, and although they did not have the interview date as of yet, they did provide me with the SDO number. They also confirmed that Santo Domingo has the paperwork and my fiance shall be receiving her packet soon. Thank you very much.

Be advised, you probably havent heard the last from me yet. I'm pretty sure i will be asking more questions in the near future. LOL

You are more than welcome. Try calling them back after the 15th of this month(in the afternoon) they may have the interview date for you by then.
