Hi All,

Could I (travel to Asia for a couple of weeks and) re-enter USA using my GC n Travel Document in Lieu of Passport from my country (not US refugee Travel Document). I had gone to USCIS office in person, asked them the same question, but the officer refered me to CBP #, which I called, n the lady said, "All I need to re-enter USA is my GC, nothing else".

Anyone has done this before?

Pls advise.

Thank you very much.

That will be fine as far as US immigration is concerned. You have two more agencies to worry about: The immigration control of the country you wish to visit, and the airline. Make sure both of those are happy with the documents you have, and you're good to go.
