Hello everyone,

I have recently moved to the U.S from Canada through the K1 process and I'd like to thank everyone on this website because it has been such a huge help. I've been in the U.S now for about a week and will be applying for my SSN in about a week and getting married soon after that and apply for AOS and EAD work permit. I've been offered a hockey tryout with a minor pro team in the area that I'm now living in with my fiancee. This would obviously be great because I'd be able to make some money now instead of waiting the 45-90 days for the EAD to process. The problem is I have no idea if this will affect the K1 visa process that I'm currently in. Does anyone know if this is a bad idea or shouldn't be a problem? The hockey team would provide a seperate visa.

Thank you,

James
