Can anyone tell me if the embassy in the Dominican Republic takes passport pictures, the reason why I'm asking is that I've heard that some passport pictures are not accepted and that they make you retake the pictures? how true is that? our interview is coming up and I want to make sure that I have the correct pictures with the correct background. 2x2 with white background exactly as they say on the interview letter.

Photographs: Two (2) recent COLOR photographs (taken no more than six months ago) for each applicant, with a white or off-white background, unretouched, with no border, and showing the applicant's ears. The measurements must be 2" x 2". The person must be looking directly at the camera (cannot be looking to the side, up or down), and the face must cover 50% of the surface area of the photograph.
