Hello,

I will be filing an I-130 for my mother in Delhi in the near future.

The problems are;

1.Her own birth certificate is incomplete ( DOB is not by the english calendar but by a local calendar system ,her name is not mentioned, her father's name is incomplete)

2.She does not have a marriage certificate and my dad is deceased.

I have been advised to get an affidavit from her sibling(her parents not alive) attesting to her

date of birth.

My question is----

Though my own birth certificate clearly shows my mom's correct name,

and she will have secondary evidence of her birth in the form of sibling affidavit and her university

matriculation certificate;

COULD THE PETITION STILL BE DENIED ON THE BASIS OF HER FAULTY BIRTH CERTIFICATE

AND NO MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE?

Any experiences in this regard or any suggestions please?
