Hubby's N-400 application is on it's way (Express mail to Dallas, mailed yesterday.) I see that the average processing time is about 5 to 5.5 months. We are scheduled to cruise in early June 2013. I know this is a cart before the horse question  . BUT what happens if the interview is scheduled for the week we are to be away. Does anyone know how difficult it is to reschedule under these circumstances? Thanks for any :help:

No problem in rescheduling but it usually lengthens the process significantly.

Fingers crossed though that you will be done by then.

It was poor planning on my part. I was so used to everything taking eight to ten months it did not occur to me to check the processing time before sending out the application. Thanks for the answer :star: . I'll have my fingers crossed. These are processed by government employees - light vacation usage in the beginning of the year :lol: could go quickly.
