Documents to bring travelling back to the Philippines with 2yr GC

This is my first time to post in here.. I need to ask some questions. Hope people in VJ who have the same stories like me could answer my inquires. I would really appreciate it.

Here are my questions?

a.) First, I have a two year green card which will expire on March 2014, I need to go back to the Philippines next year (2013) to finish my thesis writing (tentative date of completion will be 4 to 6 months). This is only the time I can start and finish my thesis writing because by 2014 I need to file my adjustment status. Do I need a re-entry permit to go back to the Philippines? and if yes, how long I will wait for it to be approved? I already booked a ticket 3rd week of March next year. I am just worried that before they ask me to come for the biometrics I am already gone.

b.)Second, If I will go back to the Philippines using my green card in my married name but my passport is in my maiden name what documents I will show that I am the person whose name reflected in the GC and passport is the same person. Is conditional green card enough to use in travelling without filing a re-entry permit? and for how long it is valid? What are the documents I need to show that staying in the Philippines for 4 to 6 months is just temporary? When I enter US what documents I need to show to the officer in the POE if he will ask me proofs of residency other than GC?

Hope some of you can enlighten me.
