Hi all,

I got a CR1 visa 2 weeks ago. I am still in Canada and moving to US soon. I am wondering if I can go back to Canada for visit or go to travel after I moved to US.

I've heard some ppl can't go to anywhere within 1 year or 2 years, they have to stay in US until some conditions remove. Am I right???

Ritchie

there is no such restriction for CR1 visa. Please read this link which compares the different types of visa.

Congratulations on your visa

Ritchie,

No, you are wrong. You are hearing things that you do not understand and don't apply to you.
