Can someone with recent visa interview experience, preferably Manila, please explain about what "original" documents were asked for during their interview process. I'm confused after reading VJ:

What to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2):

1.A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one).

2.Send all originals of the documentary proof that you submitted for the I-129F to your fiance(e) for their interview at the embassy.

Does this mean that I need to send her a copy of the I-129F package and all the original documents that were included in the I-129F package? It seems like it's the same thing, is this necessary and needed at the interview? I'm afraid to mail my original passport and birth certificate. Or does this mean original documents in the I-129F package like only boarding passes, pictures, phone bills, and etc. It sure seems like a lot of duplicate information to mail when it's already provided in the provided copy of the I-129F. Additionally, my fiancee already has numerous support items and evidence of our ongoing relationship prior to NOA1 and the time between NOA1 and our recent receipt of NOA2. She plans to bring all this evidence to the interview. If she already has a lot of evidence, do I really need to mail evidence (original documents) included the I-129F package?

All the others items required like another letter of intent, I-134, copy of NOA2, and etc make perfect sense to me.

I would appreciate any follow-up or explanation about this.

Thank you,

K & N

No need to send the original passport and BC just send her a scanned copy and YES you need to send her all the originals because the embassy might wanna look at it, i brought with me tons of evidences too. LEt her bring everything she can to prove that you have a genuine relationship. its better to be over prepared than to have so little. God bless :)

Copies of entire I-129F packet should be enough. Scan, email and print at her home or internet cafe to save you money for shipping. Be mindful of malicious eyes as those as sensitive materials.

You'll only need to send original copies of I-134, Letter of Employment, Letter of Intent.

Check out this link for all other original copies that she needs to provide and get in the Philippines.
