The last 2 years, my income has been realtively low, below poverty guidelines. This past year, I have acquired a job that has put me well above the poverty guidelines to take care of both my fiance and myself. Will this be an issue when I present my last 3 years worth of taxes and they are well under the poverty guidelines, but now have a job that is well above it? I obviously will provide a current employment letter, paycheck stubs, etc. I was hoping that this will not be an issue due to the past, but now everything is fine. Someone please advise :)

Became a couple 1/2012
Met in Canada 5/2012
Propsed as I knew she was the woman for me 5/3/2012.
Sent K-1 Off to the Chicago Lockbox 6/11/2012
NoA 1 6/13/2012
NoA 2 12/19/2012
Embassy Intervew 02/07/2013 (APPROVED)
Visa Recieved 2/14/2013
CFO Seminar 2/15/2013
Flight 3/1/2013 POE Detriot, MI, and then home to NC!!!!

Sent off AoS / EAD / AP Packet 7/19

NoA 1 EAD / AP / AOS 7/23

EAD / AP Card Recieved 9/27.

Based on what I've heard, but subject to your verification, is that what they care about is current income.

Sorry for the late response and thank you for yours! I think I am in the same boat and at my fiance's interview will have her present this past years worth of financials, and get a cosponsor later if need be for the AoS.

At least this is my plan in case they don't accept my financials for the AoS.
