Hello every one,

well i am a residing in spain, on 15-10-2012, i called NVC and they informed me that my case has been completed but they havent sent any email or anything to notify mw..

They said, they will do it once they fix an appointment in US embassy at madrid and they do not even know regarding any embassy dates..

they say, hopefully by december,i can get any date..is that really true??

Kindly any one assist me to get it through embassy ASAP.

Unfortunately, the NVC books appointments as and when available at the embassy. You can keep calling to ask about an interview date, but it's kind of a get it when you get it thing. It doesn't surprise me that you might be looking at a December interview since the embassy only has a limited number of appointments available each month for interviews. I never got any notification about our case complete either. I just called one day and they said my case was complete and that they're waiting to schedule an interview appointment. We all wish there was a way to make things go faster, but often times there's nothing we can do but be patient. Keep calling NVC until you get your interview date or just wait for the email to let you know.

Hmmm thanks for ur reply..

yeah untill the case completion,my case went to fast..i mean i sent all docs and within a week time, case is completed..well lady told me is bad luck as i got it completed on 15 and embassy schedules interview for every second week of month and for that NVC notifies one month prior to interview.

so logically, they cant put me in november..but i guess,i will keep on calling, may be something could happen..

I've heard from others on VJ that NVC always says they only schedule interviews the second week of the month...but many have been scheduled in the third and fourth week of the month. Often, what NVC says over the phone is standard script, at least that's what I've experienced. If it were me, I'd keep calling :) You ever know.

Take a look at this link to a page of common NVC issues and FAQ's if you haven't already. It really helped me when getting past that part!
