Hi everyone can you all please help me in identifying the date when I can expect my passport with VISA stamp (if approved) from Mumbai consulate to Ahmedabad pick up location. Here are some details:

7th Nov -- Interview at mumbai

8th Nov -- Working day

9th Nov -- Working day

10th Nov - Weekend

11th Nov - Weekend

12th Nov - Veterans day holiday

13th Nov - Diwali holiday

14th Nov - New year holiday

15th Nov - Working day

16th Nov - Working day

17th Nov - Weekend

18th Nov - Weekend

19th Nov - Working day

20th Nov - Working day

21st Nov - Working day

22nd Nov - Thanksgiving holiday

23rd Nov - Working day

These are consulate holidays...considering some people got their passports with visa in 4-5 working days I should be getting it on 19th Nov. It will be delivered to Ahmedabad VFS by DHL, does DHL also has a holiday for Veterans day?

Can someone help me to understand which date I should be expecting my passport from Mumbai consulate to Ahmedabad VFS? Accordingly I can make my travel plans. Thanks everyone.

Travel plans are not recommended until you have your visa in hand with all correct info. Tickets would be pretty expensive for Nov/Dec. Trip cancellation may cost big money as non-refundable tickets are pretty expensive for this timeframe. You may consider to get travel insurance if it can cover such type of cancellation. Generally, consulate will print your visa same day or next day.

If visa is granted on 7th, then it should be in VFS office by 7th or 8th ( if they are not too busy ). After that, 1 business day for delivery - Major cities. And 2-3 business days for other cities in India thru BlueDart.
