hi everyone am new here but am finally able to apply for US citizenship i have started to fill out the form can anyone tell me do you send copies of your tax transcripts with the form or do you bring them along to the interview i have vacationed outside the usa. i have a 7 month old son with my fiance she lives outside the USA does she just have to send me a letter she typed up stating i take care of my son financially ? thanks for your response

Yes you will be required to submit copies of the past (3 years) tax returns/transcript if filing based on marriage to a US citizen, or (5 years if filing) under the 5 year requirement. Dont forget to include a copy of both sides of your permanent resident card and any supporting documentation if filing based upon marriage.

Please submit these copies when mailing your N-400 application and also save copies of your tax details and everyting else to bring along to your interview.
