Hello, You can fill out all the forms if you want in advance it does not appear anything will change.. unless your employment chages or address changes which most people avoid changing during this process.

In about a month you will hear that your case is approved, after that it will take 2 to 3 weeks for NVC center to get it then it will be processed takes another 3 weeks so about 7 Weeks total from NOA2.

Which means there is plenty of time to get the police report done also... the police report depends on were your husband lives, he will have to do research and find the local police station that issues the report. It took about 10 days for my fiance to get hers, however I heard other who got there police report same day.

Hang in there its a SLOW process... just takes time.
