Hello,

I am on OPT and the EAD card I have now shows that my category is C3B (as I applied it under F1). I married a US citizen and doing a concurrent filing (I-130 and I-485)for AOS. As part of the application material I am also submitting form I-765. I am not sure what should I fill for item 16 in the form I-765. I read the instructions and there is no category for people like me, the close one is 7A. I talked to USCIS customer care and they said they can't answer specific questions. Could someone please clarify this. I appreciate your help.

Thank you

You just answered your own question, there is a case like yours. Indeed, most people here are doing that...it's called getting married to a US citizen as a foreign national. Anyway, it is 7A (c9).

Good luck!

Please neglect the post. I found that C9 is the appropriate category for me too.
