Inspired by other threads on states are solidly in a candidate's column.

California: Obama +20%

That's 55 electoral votes - more than twice what Montana (3), Georgia (16) and Nebraska (5) have combined.

New York: Obama +26.3%

That's 29 electoral votes.

Illinois: Obama +15%

That's 20 electoral votes.

But hey, Rmoney is ahead in Montana, Georgia and Nebraska.

California is a lock for any Democratic nominee for President. However, that doesn't stop the brain dead from waving huge "VOTE OBAMA" signs at the intersection of Highways 116 and 12, in downtown Sebastopol. I guess it gets them all excited that they are doing something positive, although really, really unnecessary, because they will probably forget to vote themselves.

Thank you. California is as sure a bet for Obama as Georgia, Montana and Nebraska is for Romney. I posted this only because justashooter seemed to get all excited about Romney being ahead by large margins in the latter three. I was like, duh.
