Time to receive passport back from embassy

Hi all...I have my interview on November 1st and just wondering what sort of time the embassy were taking these days to return passports. I know in the past most have received it in 2-3 days and just wondering if this was the case at the moment!

Wondering if it's too ambitious to have an interview on a Thursday and expect the passport to be in my hand the next Wednesday?!!

I think that could happen depending that it all goes well . When did you hear that you had an interview date assigned? We have pretty similar timelines, especially from NOA2 onwards. Depending if my medical results get logged some point this week, do you think that I could get an interview date assigned this week?

My interview was assigned yesterday...so exactly 2 weeks after my medical which was also the same day as all my forms were signed for at the embassy.

Okies, thanks. Maybe i'll hear of getting an interview date assigned by the end of the week. Going to call DOS on Friday and check

In case anyone is looking for delivery timing, my visa and passport arrived back today, three days after the interview. And that's despite the embassy website claiming that non-immigrant working visas (which includes L1) take longer than other non-immigrant visas.
