The embassy in Bogota should be recieving our petittion from the NVC today or tomorrow..My fiance lives in a city outside of Bogota, and I have the forms from packet 3 that they will send out. Is is a good idea to just fax them the documents that they need before we acutally recieve it from the embassy? I have heard that this can speed up the process as long as I confirm the the forms that I am using are up to date...is this correct? thanks!!

Yes. Espically if she does not live in Bogota. It will take forever for her to receive packet 3. If you send in the forms to them then they will go ahead and schedule your appointment. Make sure she has now or is obtaining all the documents she needs listed in packet 3.
