Current Status:

This case has been approved. On October 24, 2006, an approval notice was mailed.

Wasnt that a supprise for me when i checked my mail this morning! She might just make it home for christmas! Now if just got to figure out what to do next, Looks like it will be a case of abandoning the 129f.

April/04/2005- Visa journey began!!

We did both K3 & CR1 visa's, got both!!- I returned to England for my CR1 interview after first arriving on a K3 visa!!

May/25th 2006- Green card arrives in the mail................YAY!!

19th June 2006 I Had to go to the Social Security Office to get my number, the DS-230 didnt work for me!!

26-June-2006- Social Security# arrived in the mail....YAY!!

Feb 2008 lift conditions <<<reminder to self!!<<<< went to England for a visit instead, no rush right, 90 days is a long time,LOL

Removing Conditions Begins

Mailed I-751 April 12th 2008

signed for @ NSC April 16th

NOA date April 16th

Conditional GC expired May 5th 2008

Biometrics Detroit May 10th 2008

10 year Green card ordered August 20th 2008

Congratulations but I think there is still allot of work to do and Christmas might be tough.

Im at the point where they will be sending the DS-230... and I have my doubts that our family will be together before Christmas.

But, it could happen with you as some are definately processed faster than others.

At this point, this is essentialy a CR1 now, right? So James's shortcuts should be applicable? Deffinetly some new studying to do, this was an unexpected (but pleasant) turn.

Yes CR1 & James short cuts!! :thumbs: CR1 is the best visa of the 2(K3)...........it can take 3 months to get through NVC, or as little as 60days, then after case complete you have to wait for a interview to be scheduled :yes: .......................so dont give up on the K3 you could still get that first, &maybe if that happens return to Canada for CR1 interview??....................you have options now, but i will say agin the CR1 is the better Visa!!
