Case Transfer

Hi,

My wife filed my papers 2 weeks ago i130, she got the first confirmation letter a week ago, but today she got a different letter stating:

"We have transferred this case because the record indicates that office has jurisdiction over the case, the office will notify you of the subsequent action taken on this case."

My wife is freaking out right now. I have never been to the states so i have no idea what that means, you guys have been very helpful till now , what can we do ? because she is planning to come see me in a couple of months.

Is this something we should be worried about ?

Hmmm.... by any chance, was it transferred to Lee's Summit, Missouri? Mine was. From what I have read, it's not a bad thing. Your case was accepted by USCIS, and you have not gotten an RFE. The letter you received, like mine, was not asking for more information. It is telling you to be patient. So relax. There is nothing to do at this point.

Yes exactly lees summit , thanks for the reply, so we aren't looking at an interview of hers here ? for evidence of a bonafide marriage ? also, will this delay our process ?
