new processing time rules?

Hey everyone,

does USCIS have new processing time rules? I filed an I-90 back in august and it got transferred due to uscis procedure changes. It finally arrived in Texas by November. Officially they take 60-90 days which have now passed. also, TX is supposedly processing Dec 23rd, meaning it is more than 30 days over their stated processing time. I just called and got told I need to wait 6 months before they can make an inquiry. Where does that number come from? I feel like I have waited more than 6 months to have them correct THEIR screwup of my greencard (wrong gender), then waited for them to transfer it 3 times (they just changed their procedure) and now I need to wait until May? By then, my 2 year gc will be halfway expired...

I don't have a concrete answer for you, but I know another VJ member Steffi went through a similar nightmare regarding her GC too. Perhaps get your Congressman/woman involved to try and get their asses into gear? Anyone else?
