There's plenty of us who can't use hormonal methods as well. Should we expect to start dumping used condoms into a special receptacle for inspection for any holes? What if the condom is put on incorrectly? Should we be filming ourselves for later review to make sure they're used correctly? Does this also apply to the Today sponge?

Nothing so ridiculous. They should just supply all women with a bar code reader so that the condoms can be scanned before opening the packet.

And they could install a tiny camera in our vaginas to make sure that the condom is being used correctly. It would serve the dual purpose of being able to pinpoint the exact moment of conception and implantation.

Come on that would be pretty silly. A much more practical approach would be for the government to hire sex inspectors to watch people and note the method of contraception used.

So much for government staying out of our private lives.

This would have the added benefit of providing a much-needed boost to employment numbers. But they would need work for a private company doing contract work for the government, because government jobs are icky.

This is true. With a private company they'd get a nice uniform, presumably covered in Durex and Trojan advertisements.

he is pro-choice. he's drawing the fringe into the tent. you know how this stuff works.

I don't know that Romney is pro-choice. I suspect, he doesn't know either. Difficult to gauge what a candidate stands for when said candidate has been on every side of every issue. That's Mitt Romney, though. The emptiest suit I've ever seen.

And what with the porn industry in shutdown mode right now due to the syphilis outbreak, and the LA City Council forever threatening to ban production of porn movies without the use of a condom, the films could fill that gap, so to say. Get the right lighting, smear some Vaseline on the lens, and hey presto, the looming dearth of porn is fixx0red.

This is a terrific idea!idea9dv.gif

He was pro-choice when he invested ($75 million) in Stericycle, a company that disposes of dead babies.

India, gun buyback and steamroll.

Presumably we could (forcibly) ship off Michael Winner to be the technical adviser, like spraying the couple with olive oil every 15 minutes.

Um, pass. I'd prefer the soft cinematic stylings of Ang Lee's "Sense and Sensibility." I'm getting on in years and he managed to make Emma Thompson look pretty good.
