Hi All,

Like others my spouse has missed September interview in Mumbai as well. Our case was completed at NVC on July 28th and NVC told that once they schedule the interview they will email us the appointment letter, which she has to carry (along with her medical) to the consulate in Mumbai for IV interview. Now, the question is: I have contacted the VFS (the agency which handles all non-immigrant and immigrant visa processing) and they said that my wife has to submit photocopies of the documents, original of which are already submitted to NVC to the VFS office NOW and then Mumbai consulate will contact her. This is kind of confusing and not in accordance with what NVC has informed us. I am really confused....would appreciate any suggestion in this regard.

Wait for NVC to assign you a interview date and send you interview letter. After that get your medicals done and submit copies of documents you submitted to NVC to VFS.

You will probably hear from them pretty soon now and looks like you might get interview date in 1st week Oct.

Probably NVC has started preparing their interview list for Mumbai for the month of Oct. Please share the good news with us along with case completion date @NVC. This will help people to make some sort of guess about their probable interview date in Mumbai.
