customs guys are complete Morons!

I take offense to that... last time I checked I am not a complete moron and at one time it may have been me inspecting you...

I know what happened to you Lily and believe me I regret what happened... but to paint all hard working, underpaid and overworked CBP officers in the same light is plain not fair... Walk a mile in their shoes and see if you will feel the same way..

I agree,... the guys that processed me at POE were sweet and we laughed alot... mostly them at me because I was feeling nauseous and my hands were all sweaty!!! There are jerks and perverts everywhere but I believe most people are inherently good. ( o.k., so I'm Canadian and believe the best in people :luv: )

Can the Naturalizatin process be so painless?!!

I too take offense. That is a totally unfair remark. Like zyggy said - walk a mile in our shoes!

There is the good and bad in any occupation and by painting everyone by the same brush you are being guilty of the same bias judgement that you were victim of in your story!

You Regret it??! Try telling that to my child who was, and still is, tramatized by the idiot that put us thru this. My little girl cries hysterically everytime she has to go thru customs. This has hurt her for life. That guy had NO RIGHT to treat us the way he did. He should have been fired. PERIOD !

Ok, I'll re-phrase that, The Customs Guys I'VE encountered are Complete Morons!

I guess I was one of the lucky ones :) I guess the fact I knew a few of the agents helped :)

Our activation was quick and painless. Except that I made a immigration agent step away us.

We went to the Pacific Hwy Truck Crossing in Blaine, WA. I knew a few of the guys there. They told us to go in to the office

One of the guys saw our IDs and asked. "How are you 2 associated?"

I said "We are married...I ain't killed him--YET"

Dave was just shaking his head like, "I do NOT know her!"

The agent kinda cracked a smile and tried not to laugh. he had to step away because apparently he LOST IT and fell out laughing.

We were in and out within 15 minutes...the agent did the paperwork and welcomed him into the US.

Now Dave is officially a Resident Alien...

Just gotta wait until his Green Card arrives in the mail
