Aloha Everyone!!

Good day to all!! I am the beneficiary and I have a 9 yo Son who will go with me on K2... I am a single parent, I did not get married with his father..

My son is using my Last name but his father was able to sign in his birth certificate.

I am now confused about getting a consent from his father about the custody for my son.. because some said that I need to get a consent. and some said that i dont need it anymore.

I know that the custody is all mine because I am the mother... but i just like to make sure about it.. His father is in Dubai right now, and I dont want to ask any favor from him. since he doesnt care.

Hope someone here have the same situation with mine and was able to go through with this already..

I really need advice and i would appreciate it so much!! Thank you!! :-)

Thank you so much!! I also checked.. I google it.. hehehe.. it says that if parents are not married the child is illegitimate even if the father acknowledge or sign in the birth certificate of the child.. Therefore the sole custody of the child is only in the Mother. It doesnt require any consent for custody from the father.. I can bring my son anywhere.. wala sya pakialam.. hehehe.. Thank you! ako na rin ang nag answer ng tanong ko.. LOL :bonk:
