Hello Everyone,,

Hello again Vj members .. it was 5 months ago since i was post here last time.......now we having a problem our paperworks coz were not completed yet..

we wants to file for I-130 .... if its ok to file without copy of passport ,, even if he has birth certificate.... he is US citizen......coz his passport is expired already and he has no time to renew due his job so busy!!!!...

To anyone here. who had done and experience to file without copy of passport???share it pls...

thank you and highly appreciate it for ur reply guys..........

i will wait to my husband when he having time to renew his passport........

i just asking here if USCIS can accept without copy of passport.. if not ,,need to wait until my hubby get a new pssport..

april 15 2013-- paid iv bill

aug 29,2013-AOS AND IV PACKET recieved nvc sept 3 2013

sept 6 2013 sent via email ds260

sep 27 2013 2tNVC- got email checklist

NOV 16 2013 sent nvc checklist document fedex istimate friday will recieve to nvc

nov 25 2013--nvc review our docs. waiting for cc

dec 6 2013 -- nvc email got 2nd checklist but case complete.

dec 13 2013-- got P4

dec 19 and 20-- passed medical

Is your husband a natural-born U.S. citizen? If so, then his birth certificate is sufficient to prove U.S. citizenship.

If he is a naturalized U.S. citizen, he would need to show a copy of his naturalization certificate.

Since his passport is expired, either document mentioned above can be used.

He's natural- born in the US . his US citizen.. MArkieboy actually our paperworks already ok here except for my hubby passport expired

well if this ok i can tell him we can file anytime even no copy of his passport yet..

What steps did you have to go through to get CRBA and how long did it take?

I completed all docs JnRnH before i sched for my both son appointment of CRBA

I done all of this without my hubby's beside me...were approved without DNA.. just pm me sis... i will willing to help u i have copy of cover letter of my son's
