Hi guys, I'm STILL waiting for the IRS to finish my 2011 return! They lost the last page of my 2555 form and I had to resend that in 3 weeks ago, if this hadn't of happened, I'm pretty sure it would have been finished by now and I'd have the transcript in my hands! They said it will add on 6-8 weeks LONGER to get it all processed. I'm at a loss! I called the NVC, they do not care as I don't have my photocopy of my original 1040.

So here's my first idea, please tell me if this will work. If I send in a 1040x (amended 1040), photocopy that and a photocopy of my 2555 and my P60 (like W2 here in Irelnad). Will this be sufficient for the NVC? Just worried it will backfire and add even more time to the waiting game.

My other idea, a photocopy of a 1040 form with all the SAME info I had previously sent the IRS. I know the date I sent it off and everything. How is this any different than the 'original' 1040? It's the same info is it not?

Please guys, we're at a loss here, all fees are paid, all other info is ready to go except this. The IRS are no help at all. Please help!!! :crying:
