Hey everyone, first time poster...

I sent an expedite request in to the NVC June 15th, and somewhere between then and now, the request was granted.

The NVC eventually generated the case number, and IIN, but didn't notify me about the expedite being granted, so Tuesday July 3, our DS-230 and i-864 were sent to the NVC.

Today, in talking with the NVC multiple times, they informed me that I should have sent the information to my wife directly, and the NVC will be sending the package back to the address it was mailed from.

They have said a supervisor will be calling me back Monday morning, to hopefully try and sort this out, but I'm skeptical.

Can anyone provide any insight into this that has been through it?

I'm thankful we've made it this far, but it definitely stings to think you're making progress when all of a suden your documents are being unnecessarily held up in an NVC mailroom...

Thanks for all the support.
