Hello Guys, my wife and I are in a pretty aweful situation. I need your input pretty bad.

The situation is that;

1) My wife's temperary GC expires in mid August so we filed I751 in mid May.

2) She is deliverying our second child at her parents place in Korea in mid August.

3) We received NOA1 early June and USCIS screwed up her last name. They dropped the last letter of her name. So we called USIC for her to correct her name.

4) We planned to try Walk-In for her biometrics if we recieve the biometric appointment. We still have not recieved as of today 7/2/12.

5) Since she is so close to her due date, we couldn't wait any longer. She flew out last week. She is in Korea now and will return to States early January.

6) We recieved a letter from USCIS with the reference number for correcting her last name. On same date new I791C(?) arrived and it still has same error. I heard that you can fix that easily at the local office later on as long as A# is correct. Would this be problem when she returns?

I expect to recieve her biometric appointment letter any time soon according to the record on the forum.

OK, here is my question now.

1) How can I reschedule her biometric? Since we would get only two weeks notice, there is no time to send the letter to Korea and get it back on time. If we can use very expensive express mail, maybe we can but it is somewhat tight. Can she give me a power of attoreny letter or something so I can simply sign to reschedule the biometric for her?

2) Would a copy of her flight itenary and a pregranency letter from her doctor help them to understand our situation and let us postpone her biometric to January? or we have to keep rescheduling till she can go.

3) If we don't get the biometric letter somehow, when should she call USCIS?

We are pretty much lost what to do. Your inputs will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
