guys! did anything ever happen with the vj book idea? where we would submit stories about what we had gone through? mcfarlanepeter started the idea ... but if he doesn't like it anymore, i sure do and am willing to take over if anyone else is interested in contributing (otherwise, i'll write my own novel and make a million dollars all by my lonesome :P )

seriously .... stories, editors, connections in the publishing industry.... email me if you'd like to help out: nijusjaanu@gmail.com

the idea fizzled out ... rightfully so, in my opinion. there were some serious questions raised that noone was ever able to answer. chalk it up to: it's one of those ideas that sounds great when you say it fast but ... but in reality, it will never come to fruition.

number one question .... who would buy a book like this? and why? ok, that was 2 questions. you wouldn't be able to put any 'advice' in due to UPL, forms could never be included because the USCIS is forever changing them, and certain rules/regs vary from embassy. these alone, plus many other issues could not be included in the 'book'.

noone but 'us' (and family) would be interested in reading about our 'love stories'. *shrugs* i could be totally off base ... it has been known to happen from time to time! ;)

best of luck if you decide to pursue a book!
