Hello! I badly need information about me applying for naturalization. My husband is in the military stationed abroad and has been a citizen for almost 2 years now. I am a permanent resident. How true is it that I can apply for naturalization since my husband is deployed abroad? If so, does my husband need to be a US citizen for 3 years before I file the application? Thank you everyone and I'd appreciate any input that you can provide.

have you checked out this page and called the military helpline?

This page deals with the requirements for you:

In short, I believe you can file for expedited naturalization. It just says you have to be a spouse of a US citizen...I haven't read anywhere it says that they have to be a citizen for a certain period of time (although I haven't looked into it either) I think the three year thing is if you were going to apply and do everything overseas...in that case you would have to be a permanent resident for 3 years.
