My Filipina fiancee (K1) and her daughter (K2) received their visas this week (YAY!). In the "Annotation" field of the K2 visa, it states "Med Class: B2" (BOOO!).

From what I can see online, "Med Class: B2" means that her medical exam concluded that she has Latent Tuberculosis Infection (LTBI), and from what I can see on the CDC policy this means that she is able to be admitted into the US but must undergo a "LTBI Evaluation".

As a quick background for the daughter (2-3 yr old) at her medical exam at St Lukes in Manila...she tested positive on the skin test but appeared to test negative on the xray(I'm assuming...since they did not require sputum test).

We will be entering Guam as their POE into the US late July.

Does anyone have experience or relevant info available that will help give insight as to what we can expect at the POE; and after arriving in the US, what we can expect for the "LTBI evaluation"?

We will be located in Orlando, FL. I cannot seem to find good local information on any LTBI evaluation programs.

I'm assuming, based on other programs I could find online, that she will be required to take the 9 month treatment; I'm also assuming that after treatment that they will do another xray and possibly sputum.

Any insight into "Med Class: B2" is appreciated! And if she does have to take medication, any insight into the "best" treatment (medicine) to request is appreciated. Thanks.
